In 2006, Department 56 acquired Willitts Designs, a collection of fine quality collectibles
and unique home décor. Willitts Designs includes Thomas Blackshear's Ebony Visions™ a collection of
Afro-Nouveau styled sculptures which celebrate the pride of heritage and beauty of African Americans
and Possible Dreams®, a line of Clothtique figurines which utilize a stiffened cloth technique
to create fine sculptural detailing. These new collections from Department 56 offer world-class art
from artists that represent distinct cultural and artistic themes.

portraying children in colorful costumes, playing musical instruments or just enjoying the fun in The
Blackshear Jamboree Parade.

All That Jazz
The All That Jazz collection conveys both rythmn and soul
through the interplay of form and space in sculpture. By invading solid forms with voids or
gaps, negative space is used to create mood, movement and emotion for each piece.

Possible Dreams - Angels
The Possible Dreames - Clothique Collections are a steadfast symbol that the spirit
of Santa remains an opportunity to experience the warmth of Christmas not only as a seasonal
greeting, but as a year round way of life. With designs to suit every interest, the collections include the
Network Club;
Beach (where you'll find Santa and Mrs. Claus
on December 26th, ready to catch a wave and a little fun in the sun);
Walt Disney Showcase Collection ;
Religious (with a prayer before departure);
Professions and Hobbies (Aside from being the "big man" at the
North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus enjoy trying on new hats);
Traditional (dressed in his customary garb and
pursuing various holiday traditions, Santa brings delight and joy to people of all ages);
Antique Toy Chest (inspired by artwork and products from the early
20th century, these replicas bring back the joy of Christmas past); or
Ornaments (All ornaments are handmade, with individual
uniqueness and designed with the same attention to detail as our figurines. The 6" ornaments can be
used as small figurines as well as ornaments).
