Series, introduced in 1986. This charming European Village, nestled on an Alpine mountainside,
surrounded by icy streams and crystal clear lakes, is home to many prosperous shops. Hilltop
chalets and establishments bearing German names line the snow-laden roads and Villagers delight
in winter activities that come with mountain living, like skiing, snow-shoeing, and hiking.
With a little imagination, you can almost hear the Alpenhorn echoing through the mountain air
and the holiday music floating through the Village Streets.

2004 commerates the 20th Aniversary of The Dickens' Village Series.
Step back in time to the cobblestone streets, gas street lamps, and horse-drawn carriages of our 19th century Dickens' Village Series. Revel in the bustling, hearty, and joyous atmosphere found in the holiday season of Victorian England. This series, introduced in 1984, has many pieces inspired by best-loved Dickens' novels like
Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, David Copperfield, Great
Expectations, and A Christmas Carol. With old-world churches, quaint shops,
cozy cottages, rustic schools, and more, the series portrays London and the surrounding
countryside as it was during Dickens' lifetime. Detailed accessory pieces recreate the fervor

New England Village
The New England Series
was created in 1986 to capture the spirit of historic small town
America in the 1800s. Imagine crashing waves against a rocky shoreline as a backdrop to
picturesque lighthouses, nautical cottages, smoking chimneys, one-room schoolhouses, and
seaside businesses. Horse-drawn wagons pull wares for the Village through the snow-dusted
streets while Villagers keep busy with their trade. Through life is simple here, folks have
plenty to do, from selling homemade quilts to sleigh riding through a rolling countryside
filled with authentic rural barns, farmhouses, and churches. Surrounded by the crisp winter
air the Village and its residents capture the essence of the spirit of New England.
